01/09/2024 – On Sunday (1) night, police officers from the 33rd BPM were called to go to the Municipal Hospital of Japuíba, where a 29-year-old man had been admitted as a victim of a firearm. The victim died later. A cousin of the victim, who was the one who helped him, said that the crime occurred during a dance at Banqueta. Unconfirmed information shows that the killer, who would be related to the victim’s wife, would have fled after the crime, which happened amid confusion over a speaker.

03/09/2024 – Seven vessels, which together add up to about R$ 5.6 million, were seized for smuggling through fraud on Tuesday (3) in the Bay of Ilha Grande, in Angra dos Reis. The action is part of Operation “Wind in the Keel”, carried out by the Federal Police, Federal Revenue, and the Brazilian Navy. The owners were summoned to give testimony and may answer for the crimes of misrepresentation, smuggling, and embezzlement. According to the investigations, the vessels are suspected of being smuggled from abroad and defrauded in Brazil.
04/09/2024 – On the night of Wednesday (4), a 42-year-old man was executed on Rua Principal, in Bracuí. Witnesses said that a silver Peugeot paired with the victim’s car, and someone inside the vehicle fired the shots. According to the first information, the victim was armed but did not have time to react.
