During the past week, the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) updated the Covid cases and deaths in Brazil. According to the latest information released, regarding the 233rd (30 June to 06 July) epidemiological week, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 31.28% when compared to the 232nd (22 to 29 June) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, cases decreased by 57.14%.

According to the latest information released by the Brazilian Health Ministry webpage, on Monday (15/07) at 6h01, 167 million second doses, and 5.028 million single doses have been given. The results show that a total of 84.94% of people were fully vaccinated. Brazil has approximately 203 million citizens, according to IBGE.
