According to data released by the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) and the Health Ministry, during the 145th (2 to 8 October) epidemiological week, the number of new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 14.73% when compared to the 144th (25 September to 01 October) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, a 24.57% increase was registered while compared to the 144th week.
According to information released by the Our World in Data webpage on Wednesday (28/09), Brazil has 172.26 million people fully vaccinated or 80.37% of its total population.
