During the past week, the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) did not update Covid cases and deaths in Brazil. According to the latest information released, regarding the 214th (11 to 17 February) epidemiological week, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Brazil increased by 36.8% when compared to the 213th (04 to 10 February) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, cases decreased by 20.7%.

According to the latest information released by the Brazilian Health Ministry webpage, on Monday (26/02) at 06h01, 172 million second doses, and 5.054 million single doses have been given. The results show that a total of 84.94% of people were fully vaccinated. Brazil has approximately 203 million citizens, according to IBGE.
