During the past week, the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) updated the Covid cases and deaths in Brazil. According to the latest information regarding the 219th (17 to 23 March) epidemiological week, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 25.8% compared to the 218th (10 to 16 March) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, cases increased by 8.01%.

According to the latest information released by the Brazilian Health Ministry webpage, on Monday (01/04) at 06h01, 172.6 million second doses, and 5.054 million single doses have been given. The results show that a total of 85.05% of people were fully vaccinated. Brazil has approximately 203 million citizens, according to IBGE.
