According to data released by the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) and the Health Ministry, during the 128th (June 5th to 11th)epidemiological week, the number of new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Brazil increased by 40,63% when compared to the 127th (May 29th to June 4th) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, a 77,72% increase was registered while compared to the 127th week.

According to information released by the Our World in Data webpage on Sunday (12/06), Brazil has 168,03 million people fully vaccinated or 78,52% of its total population. Brazil has approximately 212 million citizens, according to IBGE. Worldwide, 60,62% (4,77 billion) of people are fully vaccinated.
