The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) signed an agreement with the Federal Audit Court (TCU) to allow the TCU to analyze the results recorded by the electronic ballot boxes in this year’s elections.

4.161 printed ballot vouchers will be checked. Each voucher shows the sum of votes per candidate, sum of votes per political party, opening and closure periods, as well as other important information for that particular ballot box on the voting day, respecting the secrecy of the vote. The TCU auditors will compare the ballot vouchers with information displayed by TSE online. This analysis will make it possible to identify whether the data displayed to the population is the same as those sent to the TSE for accounting the votes.
