10/05/2025 – On Saturday (10/05), a 23-year-old man was arrested in Belém for drug trafficking during an operation by the local Pacifying Police Unit (UPP). He was riding a bicycle with a 16-year-old minor when both were stopped near Avenida Bom Jesus. During a personal search, officers found a plastic tube containing cocaine and a cell phone on the older suspect. Both were already known to authorities for their involvement in drug trafficking, which is controlled by the Third Pure Command (TCP). The minor was released, while the 23-year-old was arrested.

13/05/2025 – On Tuesday (13/05), a man was arrested in Belém by Civil Police and the 33rd Military Police Battalion for an attempted homicide that occurred on Saturday night (10/05). The 29-year-old victim, reportedly linked to the local drug trade, was brutally beaten and found unconscious and bleeding. One of the suspects confessed to participating in the assault but denied intent to kill. Two other suspects are on the run. The motive appears to be a dispute over drug sales.
14/05/2025 – On Wednesday (14/05), the Civil and Military Police launched Operation “Cerco Total” in Morro da Glória 1, a community controlled by the Red Command (CV) faction. The operation led to the arrest of three individuals caught in drug trafficking. Police seized cocaine, marijuana, crack rocks, radio transmitters, and cash.
