17/05/2024 – Agents of the Reserved Intelligence Service (P-2) seized drugs on Friday (17/05), during an incursion to combat drug trafficking, in Predinhos do Parque Mambucaba. According to the Military Police, the police received complaints about the sale of drugs in the area. The operation seized marijuana, cocaine, and a radio transmitter. A criminal was arrested.
18/05/2024 – Military police officers from the 33rd BPM carried out an anti-trafficking operation on Saturday (18/05) in Sapinhatuba 1. According to the PM, agents from the Tactical Action Group (GAT) went to the neighborhood to identify and arrest criminals. Right at the beginning of the raid, the police were met with gunfire and retaliated. One criminal died and another was arrested.
19/05/2024 – An action by the 33rd BPM ended in the arrest of two criminals and the seizure of a drug shipment, during an operation to combat drug trafficking, carried out on Sunday (19/05), in Água Santa. According to the PM, the agents were on routine patrol when their attention was focused on a suspicious group. As the police approached, some of them managed to flee the scene, but two were caught along with the illicit material.
20/05/2024 – A chase initiated by military police, on Monday (20/05), to a stolen vehicle in the Banqueta neighborhood, East of Angra, ended with a man arrested, drugs and weapons seized. According to the Military Police, during a patrol in the neighborhood, a vehicle was identified as stolen. After a pursuit, the car was surrounded by police. The driver was arrested. During a search, officers seized a simulacrum of a firearm and drugs.
20/05/2024 – On Monday (20/05), Military Police carried out an operation in Morro da Fortaleza, in the center of Angra dos Reis, to deactivate a monitoring center for drug trafficking in the slum. Ten cameras, which were observing the daily lives of the residents and the arrival of the Military Police in the locality, were removed from the poles, dismantling the action of the traffickers. In addition to the 10 cameras, police also seized a DVR, a television, and telecommunications cables. No one was arrested.
