25/10/2022 – Civil police arrested a Frade drug dealer known as Fael. The investigation service had already been monitoring the drug operations in the neighborhood, after several anonymous complaints. During the day, the police noticed Fael’s movement, selling drugs. At this moment the teams approached and surrounded the criminals. There was no resistance from them, and they were arrested. At the time of arrest, he assumed he was the owner of the drug house, and that he was in possession of a load of drugs for commercialization and money from the movement of the sale of narcotics.
25/10/2022 – A man was arrested by the Civil Police while he was traveling from the Belém neighborhood to the Frade neighborhood, in his company’s truck. Against the 32-year-old man, there was an open arrest warrant for robbery. According to police, the suspect has eight criminal records for robbery and two for active corruption. Police also said that he was recently recognized by some of the victims of the armed robberies.
26/10/2022 – The Civil Police carried out an operation to investigate allegations of extortion by drug dealers to companies that provide internet access. Criminals would be charging a fee to allow companies to enter communities and offer the service to the population. Officers investigated the allegations in Morro do Santo Antônio, Caixa d’Água, Carmo, Perez, Glória I and Sapinhatuba II. When they arrived, there was a shooting. According to the Civil Police, no one was injured. Drugs, a communication radio used by traffickers, as well as magazines and pistol ammunition were seized.
