19/09/2022 – About 50 kg of cocaine were seized on the Rio-Santos Highway. The drug was hidden in a false bottom of a car, approached at km 534, near the Perequê neighborhood. The 41-year-old driver was arrested. During the search of the car, officers of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) noticed a volume “beyond normal” in the back seat. According to the PRF, in the drug market, the material seized is valued at over R$ 6 million.
21/09/2022 – A shooting between criminals and military police took place on Vinte e Seis Street, in the neighborhood of Sapinhatuba lll. Officers were patrolling a wooded area when they were shot at by gunmen and retaliated. At the end of the shooting, the criminals fled leaving behind a pistol, a magazine, 12 rounds of ammunition and a communicator.
