28/06/2024 – A motorcyclist was shot in the leg by police on Friday (28) in the center of Macae. The incident occurred after the motorcyclist failed to comply with an order to stop from the police and attacked an officer during the approach, in response the officer fired a shot to restrain him.

03/07/2024 – A man was arrested on Wednesday (3) in the center of Macaé after he robbed an elderly man. The victim made a withdrawal from an ATM when the suspect offered to help him before stealing the money. A patrol unit was in the area and quickly arrested the suspect who had two outstanding warrants for theft and 20 criminal records for various crimes.
04/07/2024 – During a patrol on Rua D in Parque Aeroporto on Thursday (4), police arrested a minor involved in drug trafficking. The suspect caught the attention of the police when he appeared nervous as they approached. When apprehended he admitted that he intended to sell the marijuana they found on him. The suspect is associated with the criminal faction Comando Vermelho (CV).
04/07/2024 – A police operation in Fronteira on Thursday (4) resulted in the arrest of a man linked to the criminal gang ADA. When the suspect was approached, they found a radio transmitter in his pocket tuned to the local drug trafficking frequency.
