27/09/2025 – On Saturday (27/09), military police in Macaé arrested a couple for drug trafficking after receiving a tip about sales taking place in Praça da Aroeira, in the Aroeira neighborhood. Officers from the undercover unit (P2) found two people matching the description and discovered drugs in a bag during the search. The pair admitted involvement and revealed where more drugs were hidden.

28/09/2025 – On Sunday (28/09), military police from the 32nd BPM arrested a man considered a fugitive from justice in Macaé. He was captured in the São José do Barreto neighborhood with a fake pistol and 24 rocks of crack. According to authorities, he was identified as the local drug trafficking manager and already had an outstanding warrant for association with drug trafficking, along with multiple prior criminal records.
29/09/2025 – On Monday (29/09), police in Macaé arrested a man for attempted homicide after he stabbed his ex-partner’s current boyfriend out of jealousy. The suspect waited near the babysitter’s house in Piracema, confronted the couple, and during a fight stabbed the victim four times in sensitive areas of the body. Residents and the woman intervened, stopping the attack. The victim was taken to the hospital and survived, while the attacker was captured the same day in Jardim Franco.
29/09/2025 – On Monday (29/09) in Barra de Macaé, Civil Police executed two search and seizure warrants against a couple suspected of benefiting from the diversion of around R$600,000 from a business account. As part of the second phase of Operation Finee, investigators froze approximately R$80,000 in the couple’s assets and seized documents, computers, cell phones, bank cards, a drone, an external hard drive, and a medical stamp allegedly used for illicit purposes. The operation was coordinated with the 3rd Police Precinct of Santa Maria (RS).
02/10/2025 – On Thursday (02/10), police detained two people during an operation in Parque Aeroporto. A minor was caught with ten packets of cocaine hidden inside a beer can, while a 40-year-old man carried a small amount of marijuana and a cell phone. Both were taken to the 123rd Police Station. A third suspect was questioned and released.
