09/08/2024 – On Friday morning (9), a man was arrested in the Botafogo neighborhood during Operation Angelus, conducted by the Federal Police. The arrest came after it was discovered that the suspect kept 945 digital files with material related to child sexual abuse. The investigation, carried out by the Federal Police Station in Macaé in partnership with a North American NGO, revealed that the man had downloaded and stored this illegal content on his cell phone.

12/08/2024 – On Monday (12) morning, the Military Police received information that a 45-year-old suspect had stolen electrical wiring cables during the early hours of Sunday (11) at a construction site in downtown Macaé. The suspect was located near the Ivan Mundim bridge. The agents of the Segurança Presente program managed to arrest him. He had an open arrest warrant for robbery in the State of Pernambuco.
13/08/2024 – On Santa Bárbara Street, in the Malvina neighborhood, in Macaé, the police arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking, on Tuesday (13). After receiving complaints that an individual, wearing a black shirt and blue shorts, would be selling narcotics on the premises. The agents set up an operation and managed to approach the suspect. During the search, 15 cocaine pins, 150 marijuana bushings, two radio transmitters, and an amount of 31 reais were found with the man. He had a role in drug trafficking in the region, linked to the criminal faction Friend of Friends (ADA).
13/08/2024 – Based on privileged information, an operation by the 32nd BPM, launched on Tuesday (13), resulted in the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers in the Botafogo neighborhood. Both bandits are linked to the criminal faction Friend of Friends (ADA). The police went to Rua Antônio Bichara Filho, where the first criminal was approached. With him, R$10 in cash, 13 bundles of marijuana (26g), and 11 bags of cocaine (22g) were found. During the approach, the attention of the agents turned to the second criminal, already known in the police environment for involvement with trafficking. After a personal search, R$325 in cash was found, which he confessed to be part of the trafficking collection.
