06/12/2022 – A man was arrested after assaulting his own wife and breaking the property where he lived on Maria Rosa Maravilha Street, in the Virgem Santa neighborhood. According to the Military Police, officers went to the residence to verify a crime of violence against women. Arriving at the property, the accused was found sitting in the backyard, while the victim was at a neighbor’s house. The woman told the military that her husband attacked her and soon after “breaking down the whole house”.
07/12/2022 – A 32-year-old woman was arrested after stealing clothes from a clothing store in downtown Macaé. Officers of the Present Security Program were called to verify the possible crime in an establishment on the Calçadão. Upon arriving at the store, they contacted the inspector, who reported that the woman had stolen items from the women’s session.
