26/06/2023 – A joint operation between several Civil and Military Police units took place from Monday (26/06) to Friday (30/06). The main objective was to curb street robberies in the cities of Macaé, Rio das Ostras, Casimiro de Abreu, Conceição de Macabu, Quissamã and Carapebus, through arrests and the execution of arrest warrants against criminals involved in pedestrian robbery.
28/06/2023 – A man was arrested after a robbery inside a bus on RJ-106, in Barra de Macaé. According to the Military Police, the crime happened on the bus that made the Centro X Engenho de Praia line. According to witnesses, the criminal jumped the roulette wheel, entered the bus, and stole the cell phone that was in the hands of a passenger.
