03/06/2024 – An operation by the Dog Action Battalion (BAC) resulted, on Monday (03/06), in the seizure of a large quantity of drugs in Bosque Azul, in the Ajuda de Baixo neighborhood. The BAC team conducted a sweep of the area with the support of the 32nd BPM. During the operation, there was a seizure of R$ 19,210.00.
04/06/2024 – Agents of the 32nd Military Police Battalion (32nd BPM) arrested five individuals and seized a large quantity of drugs, ammunition, and weapons on Tuesday (04/06), in the community of Fronteira, in Macaé. The action was triggered after anonymous complaints about drug trafficking points in the region. During the operation, authorities seized cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, two rifles with magazines, a kit for converting pistols into submachine guns, ammunition, cell phones, scales, and presses. The zone is strategic since it is located near important roads and rich neighborhoods.

04/06/2024 – In an action carried out by the 32nd Military Police Battalion on Tuesday afternoon (04), a couple was detained for involvement in drug trafficking at Rua Jandira Perligeiro, in the Cajueiro neighborhood, in Macaé. The garrison noticed the nervous behavior of the couple when they saw the police presence. This attitude aroused suspicion, prompting officers to approach the individuals. During the personal search, officers found drugs.
06/06/2024 – The 32nd Military Police Battalion and the Security Presente team arrested the person responsible for a homicide that occurred this Thursday morning (06/06), at a construction site on Rua Francisco Teresa Filho, in the Fronteira region. The victim was found dead with a wound to the back of the head. Workers at the site reported that the victim had been involved in a heated argument with a colleague shortly before he was murdered.
07/06/2024- Civil police officers arrested a man in Centro who victimized children under the age of twelve. The suspect stated that he sent the minor a photo of his genitals after meeting her in a virtual chat. He also stated that he had already committed similar acts with other girls and was charged with enticing minors.
09/06/2024 – In an operation carried out on Sunday (09/06), military police officers arrested a suspected drug trafficker in Aroeira. The agents found 12 pins of cocaine in the bag. He confessed that he was part of drug trafficking.
10/06/2024 – On Monday (10/06), police arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking in the Fronteira community. 17 packets of cocaine and a radio transmitter were found with him. The man was linked to the ADA criminal faction and will be charged with drug trafficking.
10/06/2024 – On Monday (10/06) military police arrested a man who was stealing in the Centre of Macaé. Narcotics were found on the suspect during the personal search and the individual was charged with the crimes of theft and possession of narcotics.
11/06/2024 – Three people suspected of drug trafficking were arrested on Tuesday (11/06) in Cajueiros. The operation was triggered after information indicating the activity of the ADA criminal group in the area. The suspects were arrested and formally accused of illicit drug trafficking.
14/06/2024 – A man was arrested at Evaldo Costa Street, in the Sol e Mar neighborhood, on Friday (14), for illegal possession of a firearm. The arrest was made by the P2 intelligence team, which went to the scene through a tip-off. The information indicated that an individual in a black coat and gray cap was circulating the place carrying a weapon. Officers went to the scene and approached the individual. The man identified himself as a lawyer and admitted to having a pistol. He was also using cocaine.
17/06/2024 – The Federal Highway Police (PRF) arrested two men for illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, and drugs on the Br-101 highway, near Casimiro de Abreu. The arrest took place in the early hours of Monday (17). According to information, the suspects were on their way to Cabo Frio when they were approached while on patrol. During the search, authorities found a rifle, 2 pistols and ammunition, R$1,900 in cash, and eight packages of marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, known as ‘Pablo Escobar’, was arrested.
20/06/2024 – During the patrol in Veríssimo de Melo Square, on Thursday (20), the Segurança Presente team heard a gunshot. In immediate response, they began searching the area and found a visibly agitated man. Next to him, a pistol containing 10 intact rounds of ammunition was located. Present Security agents took the individual and the weapon to the 123rd Police Precinct.
24/06/2024 – On Monday (24), the 32nd Military Police Battalion dismantled a drug trafficking point located in the Lagomar neighborhood. The operation was triggered after information received by the Disque Denunciation indicated that an individual would be storing and selling narcotics. After verification of the information by the P2 team, the officers went to the scene and found the suspect, who had 66 bags of cocaine.
24/06/2024 – A man was arrested in Parque Aeroporto for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons on Monday (24). The arrest was part of Operation Narke II to intensify the fight against trafficking and other illicit activities in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The police received information surrounding an alleged drug dealing point when they arrived at the location, the police found 5kg of cocaine, 24 portions of marijuana, and an illegal firearm.
26/07/2024 – On Wednesday (26) afternoon a woman was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in the favela da Linha. The arrest occurred after the police received a tip that a woman was hiding drugs in a vacant lot. After being arrested the woman confessed and led the police to where she was hiding her bag. In the bag, police found 15 packets of cocaine ready for sale.
26/06/2024 – On Wednesday (26) three suspects, linked to drug trafficking, were arrested in Bosque Azul. The three men belong to the criminal faction Amigo dos Amigos. operation police seized marijuana, cocaine, and money accumulated from illicit activities.

- After dark, avoid Glória and the Centro (Downtown).
- After dark, avoid walking alone in Praia Campista and Cavaleiros.
- Avoid Lagomar, Barra de Macaé, Engenho da Praia, Planalto da Ajuda, Ajuda de Cima, Ajuda de Baixo, Morro de Santana and Morro de São Jorge (in Paraíso), Fronteira, Jardim Maringá, Barra, Nova Holanda, Malvinas, Botafogo, Aroeira, Parque Aeroporto and the surroundings of Favela da Linha (in between Visconde de Araújo and Cajueiros), as risks of collateral damage and assault are high in these areas.
- As much as possible, restrict movement in the districts of Novo Horizonte (in Vale Encantado) and Parque Aeroporto. Do not walk alone in these areas and use only licensed taxis.
- Be careful when walking downtown, avoid exposing valuables.
- Be always cautious, including in areas perceived as safe.
- Avoid any display of wealth (jewelry, cell phones), but always carry a small amount of money (R$50) to hand.
