24/02/2023 – An armed robber broke into a restaurant in downtown Macaé, right at the opening of the shop, around 8:00. Security cameras recorded the moment of the crime. The criminal entered the establishment, pointed a gun at the owner and left the restaurant taking cash from the cashier and some belongings in a backpack.
27/02/2023 – A man was shot dead inside his car in the Parque Aeroporto neighborhood. According to the Military Police, officers were called to Rua Padre Ventura to verify the incident. At the scene, they found the man already dead. He was murdered inside his own vehicle, at the gate of the house where he lived. The criminals fled in a red vehicle. So far, no information about the authorship and motivation of the crime.
27/02/2023 – A man was arrested in the Imbetiba neighborhood after stealing a cell phone. The criminal was arrested by the Present Security Program agents. The team was on a patrol when approached by the victim, reporting that the cell phone had been stolen and that the criminal was heading towards the Remada hotel. Officers went to the scene and approached him with the robbery proceeds.
