09/03/2023 – Three drug dealers were arrested after a shooting with the Military Police on the banks of the Macaé River, in the Nova Holanda neighborhood, following a complaint that drug dealers were packaging drugs for sale. During the confrontation, the criminals jumped into the water and three were captured. In addition to cocaine, bags, scales, sieve and two blenders were seized.
10/03/2023 – A former military police officer who was on the run from justice was arrested in the Parque Aeroporto neighborhood. A preventive arrest warrant was pending against him for the crime of extortion through kidnapping.
16/03/2023 – A man was arrested with drugs at Macaé Airport, during a joint operation by the Federal and Civil Police. According to the police, the action was aimed at combating arms and drug trafficking in air transport.
