25/11/2022 – A woman was the victim of a robbery on Rua Carlos de Carvalho, in downtown Rio. A video shows the action of two criminals. The first arrives from the front and the second comes right after, behind the victim. With violence, they push her against a tree and while one holds the woman the other takes her purse. After the action, both run away.

27/11/2022 – A 19-year-old teen was killed on Estrada do Engenho Novo, in Anchieta, North Zone. According to the Irajá Battalion, a team was called to a store, and found the victim already dead, with a shot in the head. He was alone in his father’s pet store when there was an alleged robbery attempt.
27/11/2022 – A man was killed in Engenho Novo, North Zone. According to the Military Police, the victim was a robber who had shot a police patrol that was in his pursuit. According to the PM, they had been informed about a stolen car in the Grajaú neighborhood. On Rua Caimbé, in Engenho Novo, the military intercepted the criminal and was attacked by gunfire. The PMs returned fire and shot the suspect, who died. Two guns were seized from him.
27/11/2022 – A family was robbed on Rua Joaquim Pinheiro, in the Freguesia neighborhood, West Zone. The criminals’ action lasted less than a minute. A car stops on the sidewalk, in front of a residence. Security camera footage then recorded the moment another vehicle appeared backing up. Two robbers got out already with guns pointed towards the parked car. A man leaves with his hands raised, as one of the thugs tries to steal his watch. The second goes to the passenger side. Two girls get out of the car and the victim’s wife appears trying to pull her husband away. When another car appears on the street, the criminals speed up, get into the stolen vehicle and flee.
28/11/2022 – Two Colombians and a Mexican were arrested for stealing cell phones at the FIFA Fan Fest, in Copacabana, South Zone, during Brazil’s game in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Eleven cell phones were recovered by the police and four victims were identified.
29/11/2022 – The Civil Police is investigating a gang of sex workers specialized in robbing, assaulting and doping victims in the “Boa noite, Cinderela” scam, in neighborhoods in the city’s South Zone. On Tuesday (29/11), police carried out an operation to arrest five of the criminals who, after meeting a businessman on a dating app, entered his apartment on Avenida Borges de Medeiros, Lagoa, South Zone, slapped and punched him and took electronic equipment, jewelry, and money. In the property, the victim was still forced to ingest a liquid.
30/11/2022 – Military Police Special Police Operations Battalion (Bope) carried out an operation to try to arrest, in the West Zone, Zinho, the most wanted militiaman in RJ and head of the largest paramilitary group in the state. Criminals fought back, and there was intense shooting. At least one man died. Intelligence sectors discovered that Zinho was in a meeting with other militia members in Santa Cruz. Bope was then triggered to try to capture him.
30/11/2022 – The 67-year-old former Flamengo player Nunes had his car stolen on Linha Vermelha, near Pavuna, in the North Zone. In addition to the vehicle, the coach lost a gold necklace and bracelet, passport and work materials. He said he was returning from work when he was approached by eight armed criminals in two white cars.
01/12/2022 – A Military Police operation in Morro do Juramento, in Vicente de Carvalho, North Zone, left five people dead. According to the PM, officers were leaving a joint operation carried out in the Communities of Juramento and Chapadão when they were surprised by criminals who were trying to occupy the community that had been the operation target. The criminals attacked the police and there was a shooting.
