09/12/2023 – A group of supporters of the Santos FC tried to invade the gymnasium of the club during the election of the club´s new president. The security teams of the club contained the riot until the arrival of the anti-riot squad of the police. The election has been interrupted for 20 minutes and the club´s associates have been evacuated from the local. This riot is one of the results of the downgrade of the Santos FC to 2nd division on 6th of December, which left a tense climate in the city.
14/12/2023 – A merchant registered a complaint for fraud at the 7th Police Precinct, in Gonzaga, Centre of Santos. The victim only perceived the fraud when the Santos energy company cut the furnishment. Indeed, he has received a false invoice of the energy company via e-mail, as the real energy company does not use anymore paper invoices. He said to the detectives there was no way to distinguish the real from the false, as every detail was similar from one to the other. He also declared that the only way for the bandits to have such personal details is that the energy company could have been hacked or having some employee that transmit the data to the criminals.
