09/04/2025 – On Wednesday (9), a woman filed a police report after an Uber driver allegedly masturbated in front of her during a ride in Boqueirão. The incident occurred after her boyfriend exited the vehicle, leaving her alone with the driver, who then exposed himself and began making suspicious movements. She asked him to stop and fled the car after confirming his genitals were exposed. After she and a relative shared the case on social media, the driver’s family reportedly began threatening her to intimidate her into silence. The case is being investigated by the Women’s Police Station, and Uber has deactivated the driver’s account.
14/04/2025 – On Monday (14), in the Gonzaga district, a man stole 26 chocolate bars from an Americanas store in broad daylight, just days before Easter. Caught in the act and briefly restrained by an employee, the suspect was arrested by the municipal civil guard and charged with theft.
