16/05/2024 – A 16-year-old girl reported on Thursday (16/05) that she was raped and threatened with a knife after accepting a ride from a 36-year-old acquaintance in Santos. According to the police report, the young woman’s mother told the police that her daughter was approached by the man as she left work in the Areia Branca neighborhood. He offered her a ride home, and as he was known to the family, she accepted. During the journey, the suspect swerved out of the way and told the girl to be quiet, while threatening her with a knife. According to the teenager, the man stopped in a truck parking lot and raped her inside the car.

18/05/2004 – Students in the radiology and nursing courses of a vocational school (Grau Técnico Santos) in Santos accuse an events company of applying scams of fake graduation parties. The victims said that the classes had a loss of more than R$ 100,000. The event, which was to take place on Saturday (18), was canceled two days earlier and the money was not refunded.
21/05/2024 – A 41-year-old woman was found dead on Wednesday (21/05) at the Brasul Hotel, on Rua Bittencourt, downtown Santos. Raquel da Costa Santos was working as a call girl and entered the room accompanied by a customer, who left the place. She was found alone and lifeless by her son and the staff of the place.
22/05/2024 – A 42-year-old truck driver was kidnapped around 22:00 on Wednesday (22/05) near the Paquetá Cemetery by two men and held hostage for more than six hours in Cubatão (SP). The victim was surrendered after unloading a cargo. In addition to the vehicle, three empty trucks, a cell phone, a wedding ring, and a company credit card were stolen.
