18/06/2022 – An armed man robbed a convenience store on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in the Chico de Paula neighborhood. The crime happened at night and was recorded by the establishment’s security cameras. An employee who was at the cashier was approached by the armed criminal. He stole R$100 and five packs of cigarettes.
19/06/2022 – A couple was approached by five armed criminals at the door of a motel in Vila Matias and had their car and cell phone stolen. According to the incident report, the man, who was in the driver’s seat, went to lower the car window to give his documents to the motel employee, when he was surprised by two men who started screaming demanding that the couple get out of the vehicle and leave all belongings.
19/06/2022 – A trio used a sleeper hold to rob a 66-year-old man at dawn on Rua João Pessoa, in downtown Santos. The victim was at a bus stop when he was surprised by the criminals’ action. The criminals were arrested by the Military Police (PM). In addition, a replica rifle was located wrapped in a blanket, as well as two knives and pliers.
21/06/2022 – A woman pretended to accompany a patient at a medical clinic in the Gonzaga neighborhood and stole the cell phone of the local employee. In security camera footage, you can see the criminal hiding the device in the middle of a magazine. The action lasted approximately 40 seconds.
21/06/2022 – After Santos’ defeat to Corinthians, Santos fans protested inside and outside the Estádio da Vila Belmiro. In the streets close to the stadium, the Military Police had to use stun bombs and pepper spray to disperse the groups. Even the cavalry had to go into action. With the home team losing, part of the crowd present in the stadium started throwing rockets and flares on the field, towards the Corinthians goalkeeper. For security reasons, the match was closed early.
