11/03/2022 – A group of 10 criminals carried out a mass robbery on the Boqueirão beach. Two minors aged 15 and 17 were apprehended by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM). To the officers, the victim said that she was surrounded by the criminals and had her bicycle, backpack and a certain amount of money stolen.
13/03/2022 – An employee of the company that operates railway lines in Baixada Santista, was arrested by the Civil Police during an operation to curb thefts and robberies of train cars in the region. According to the police, he would have received money from criminals to facilitate cargo theft.
13/03/2023 – Two men, aged 29 and 57, were arrested after robbing a restaurant in downtown Santos. The Civil Guard (GCM) arrested the duo, who were carrying a large capacity gas cylinder. During patrolling, the team approached the men, who confirmed the robbery at a restaurant.
15/03/2023 – The Federal Police, in a joint action with the Federal Revenue Service, seized 670 kg of cocaine in the Port of Santos. The drug was hidden in the middle of a load of soy, which was destined for the Port of Antwerp, in Belgium. According to the authorities, the cargo was selected for verification underwent risk analysis criteria, based on export operations. During the procedures, a drug-sniffing dog positively signaled the presence of drugs.
