27/04/2022 – An elderly woman, aged 67, was the victim of an express kidnapping and had more than R$ 10,000 stolen on Rua Carlos Gomes, in Campo Grande. The elderly woman said that a man stopped her to inform her that the car she was driving had lost a part. Then another man shouted for the victim to stop the car because the tire would be releasing smoke. Scared of the situation, she stopped the vehicle and was cornered by the criminals. She was placed inside the car, and the criminals asked her to pass the card password on a machine. She was released when the bank blocked her cards.
01/05/2022 – The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) arrested two criminals for robbery. The victims of the bandits – a couple of tourists from Mato Grosso – had their cell phones and rings taken by two criminals on bikes on Avenida Bartolomeu de Gusmão, in the neighborhood of Aparecida. There was persecution. A firearm was seized.
02/05/2022 – A gang set fire to a lottery house during a robbery on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in Caneleira. The criminals managed to escape. According to the Military Police, the owner reported that five criminals arrived announcing the robbery, one was carrying a firearm, and another had a plastic gallon, with a liquid that appeared to be gasoline. During the action, criminals threw the liquid on the windows and counters, and set fire to the floor. Criminals stole cell phones from two customers and fled without taking the store’s money.
02/05/2022 – A 21-year-old man was arrested, and a 16-year-old teenager was apprehended after stealing a motorcycle and credit cards in the Campo Grande neighborhood. The crime took place on Rua Paraná, when a motorcyclist was attacked by three criminals on two bicycles. They ordered the victim to pass the cards to the armed criminal while another got on the motorcycle and fled. After being alerted, the police began the search and found the two leaving a supermarket.
