02/11/2022 – A 59-year-old man was found dead in Santos on the edge of Canal 3 beach, in Gonzaga. The reason for his death is still unknown. The body was located near Concha Acústica, on Avenida Vicente de Carvalho. The case was registered as a suspicious death by the Judiciary Police Center (CPJ) and is being investigated by the Civil Police.

03/11/2022 – Two men died, and one was wounded after a shooting between criminals and the military police in Morro do José Menino. According to the PM, officers went to the scene for an operation against drug trafficking. They were shot at and retaliated. No police officer was injured. Three criminals were shot and taken to hospital. Two criminals died. At the scene, police found 2,173 portions of drugs, two precision scales, two backpacks, camouflage clothing and cash. 08/11/2022 – A police operation in Morro São Bento ended with a large amount of drugs seized and two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, captured. With the aim of curbing drug trafficking, the Special Police Action Battalion (Baep) team was patrolling the region when they entered an alley and came across four individuals practicing illicit trade. The group fled upon noticing the police presence, causing the officers to initiate a hot pursuit on foot. 10/11/2022 – The Military Police seized more than 200 rifle ammunition after a shooting with criminals involved in drug trafficking in Jardim São Manoel. A 38-year-old man was arrested, while others managed to escape. Teams from the 2nd Battalion of Special Police Actions (Baep) were patrolling the neighborhood when they were shot at when entering one of the alleys in the community. Officers noticed several men engaging in drug dealing. In addition to the ammunition, cocaine, marijuana, crack, money, two radios, a tablet and a notebook with trafficking notes were seized.
12/11/2022 – The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Santos seized a 16-year-old that stole a cell phone in the Gonzaga neighborhood. The criminal was cycling on the bike path and pulled the cell phone from a woman’s hands. He fled towards São Vicente, but GCM agents managed to stop him on the sand strip of the beach at the height of Channel 1.
19/11/2022 – A group carried out a mass robbery in a supermarket on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in the Chico de Paula neighborhood. According to the person in charge of the establishment, about eight to 10 individuals participated in the robbery. Some wore hooded coats and masks. Two closed cashier drawers, a printer, around R$300 and drinks were stolen. Nobody was hurt. According to police, so far, the criminals have not been identified.
20/11/2022 – A gang carried out a mass robbery in a supermarket, on Avenida Senador Feijó, in Vila Matias. The Military Police (PM) reported that the group invaded the establishment, caused panic among employees and customers, stole products and fled. The gang arrived at the scene and, in order not to attract attention, the group split up. Then they went to the section of frozen products, filled the supermarket trolleys with meat and slowly left the market without paying.

- Be cautious when in the vicinity of Embaré, Ponto da Praia, Campo Grande, Rádio Clube, Downtown and Estuário.
- Be cautious at all times, including in areas perceived as safe.
- Avoid any display of wealth (jewelry, mobile phones), but always carry a small amount of money (R$50) to hand over to muggers if attacked.
- In case of robbery: cooperate, do not try to run after the assailant as they might be armed or resort to violence.
- In case of kidnapping:
- Cooperate in order to mitigate the risk of violence, and do not lie or provide false information to your kidnappers.
- Bear in mind that the vast majority of kidnappings are financially motivated, and that negotiation may be lengthy.
