01/06/2024 – The Padre José de Anchieta municipal library, which is located in Perus, North Zone of the capital of São Paulo, was invaded by criminals during the long holiday of Corpus Christi (01). Employees reported that when they arrived for work, they found broken cabinets and glass, as well as a lot of garbage scattered around, damaged appliances, and stolen objects. According to officials, this is the fourth invasion in 15 days at the library.

02/06/2024 – A man and two women were arrested this Sunday (2) after stealing ten cell phones during the LGBTQIA+ Parade. The event took place in the region of Avenida Paulista, in the center of the capital. According to the Secretariat of Public Security, civilian police officers in plain clothes were undercover in the crowd when, in Roosevelt Square, they spotted three people acting suspiciously. The team approached and noticed that one of them handed cell phones to a third suspect, who hid the devices in a bag.
02/06/2024 – A 41-year-old man was arrested with 179 bank cards stolen from LGBTQIA+ Parade participants. The event took place on Sunday (02/06), on Avenida Paulista, in the center of the capital. It also carried four card machines. According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), thefts were the main occurrences recorded during the Parade.
03/06/2024 – An operation against drug trafficking on Monday (3) resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old man who was carrying more than 1,000 portions of narcotics in a backpack. The case took place in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, in the south zone of the capital of São Paulo. Upon entering the Doutor Mário Cardim community, the police saw a man running with a backpack in his hands. The suspect was caught up by the officers and searched.
03/06/2024 – The Civil Police of São Paulo is investigating the death of a 27-year-old man after performing an aesthetic procedure at the clinic of influencer Natália Becker in Campo Belo, South Zone of the capital, on Monday afternoon (03/05). According to the Secretariat of Public Security, military police officers responded to the incident and were informed that Henrique da Silva Chagas had performed a procedure known as phenol peeling. Soon after the procedure, he began to breathe very hard through his mouth and called for help. The death was registered as suspicious. Later, it was discovered that the influencer was performing the procedures without authorization and had only taken unofficial online courses on how to do the procedure.
03/06/2024 – A man, identified as the leader of a criminal faction, was arrested on Monday (03/06) by the Civil Police in the region of Morro Doce, in Anhanguera, in the north of São Paulo. More than 1,600 portions of drugs packaged for sale were seized, as well as two pieces of dynamite, two ballistic vests, and four cell phones. During the investigation, the police discovered the address of one of the leaders of a gang, who lives in the northern part of the capital.
03/06/2024 – On Monday morning (03/06), on Avenida Cupecê, in Jardim Prudente, South Zone of São Paulo, a group of teenagers tried to steal motorcycles from a dealership, but, as they could not find the keys, they left the place taking only cell phones. According to police, four of the six teenagers aged 16 to 14 were arrested. Three cell phones, keys to a motorcycle, and a fake firearm were seized.
04/06/2024 – A military police officer was caught applying a “rear-naked choke” to a 42-year-old popcorn maker on Vilela Street, in the East Zone of São Paulo. The fight move, also known as a “neck lock,” has been banned in police stops in the state since 2020. Residents who were near the site recorded the police approach, made on Tuesday afternoon (04/06). In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security said that military police officers approached the man, who reported that he did not have authorization from the city to work as a street vendor.
05/06/2024 – A 38-year-old Brazilian Air Force major was shot in the neck during a robbery on Doutor Cardoso de Melo Avenue, in Vila Olímpia, South Zone of São Paulo, on Wednesday night (05/06). A security camera recorded the moment he was surprised by an armed motorcyclist. In the images, it is still possible to see when the woman who accompanied him took a cell phone from her bag and handed the device to the robber. In the sequence, the major goes towards the bandit, who shoots and flees.
06/06/2024 – An action by the Military Police in Paraisópolis, South Zone of São Paulo, ended with the death of a suspect and two police officers shot on the morning of Thursday (06/06). According to the PM, a team was activated around 10:50 a.m. to respond to an occurrence in Paraisópolis involving drug trafficking, during the event there was an exchange of gunfire with suspects. Still, according to the PM, two police officers and a suspect were shot.
