13/12/2025 – On Saturday (13), a 53-year-old woman was found fatally stabbed in the outbuilding of the residence where she worked and lived as a caretaker, in the Morumbi neighborhood, South Zone. The main suspect, her husband, fled the scene but was quickly located and arrested by police in Irani, Santa Catarina, after his vehicle was spotted on the highway.

13/12/2025 – On Saturday (13), a violent brawl involving punches and thrown food broke out between two employees and a couple at a McDonald’s in Vila Nova Cachoeirinha, North São Paulo. The fight, reportedly over a food order, was caught on video and shows both parties trading blows in front of a crying child.
14/12/2025 – The influencer Samuel Sant’anna da Costa, known as “Gato Preto,” was arrested on Sunday morning (14), in the Tatuapé neighborhood, East Zone. He was wanted for the non-payment of child support amounting to over R$ 57,000. Located by the “Muralha Paulista” application as he was leaving a show venue, he was apprehended by the Military Police and taken into custody. The influencer is known for his luxurious lifestyle and various controversies, including a traffic accident in August while driving under the influence (alcohol, ecstasy, and marijuana) and accusations of illegal promotion of online gambling.
14/12/2025 – A protest against the Dosimetria Bill and the amnesty for those involved in the January 8 acts was held by demonstrators this Sunday (14), on Avenida Paulista, in front of Masp, in Bela Vista. The bill, already approved by the Chamber, aims to reduce the prison time for those convicted of attempted coup d’état, potentially benefiting former President Jair Bolsonaro.
14/12/2025 – A 38-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto for attempted femicide this Sunday (14), in Cidade Dutra, South Zone. The aggressor stabbed his partner with a knife in a hotel before fleeing. The victim was rescued and taken to the hospital (stable and out of danger). The suspect was quickly found by the police in a public square and detained for attempted femicide.
14/12/2025 – A 27-year-old driver was fatally shot in the head by a motorcyclist on Sunday night (14), on Rua Francisco Mariani, in the Capão Redondo neighborhood, South Zone. The crime occurred while the victim was in the car with his wife and baby daughter, who were unharmed. Security footage captured the moment the helmeted motorcyclist approached and fired. The motive for the crime has not yet been clarified, as none of the victim’s belongings were taken.
15/12/2025 – This Monday (15), a woman reported being drugged and suffocated by her partner in a motel on Rua Inácio Monteiro, Jardim São Paulo, East Zone. The victim was rescued and taken to Santa Marcelina Hospital. The suspect was apprehended and detained for attempted femicide on the premises, where police also seized narcotics, medication, and a handmade knife used for threats.
15/12/2025 – A woman was seriously injured this Monday (15), in the Vila Carrão neighborhood, East Zone, after being intentionally run over by her ex-partner’s car and then hitting a pole. The assault, classified as attempted femicide, occurred while the victim, who had obtained a protective order the previous Friday, was accompanying the man who was taking their daughter to school. The aggressor, who initially fled the scene, was arrested in flagrante delicto shortly after by the police.
16/12/2025 – The São Paulo Civil Police launched an operation this Tuesday (16), to investigate fake doctors who worked for about two years at the private Hospital Jardim Helena in the East Zone, where they allegedly treated thousands of patients. The investigation centers on a biomedical professional who used a real doctor’s identity and is linked to at least eight suspicious deaths, with police also probing for money laundering and fraud against medical plans.
16/12/2025 – Videos circulating on social media show the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM) and the Military Police (PM) assaulting and pointing weapons at female street vendors in the Brás neighborhood on Tuesday morning (16). The footage captures officers using batons and one PM pointing a long gun at a woman’s chest during an operation to seize illegally traded goods. São Paulo authorities stated that the forces were responding to “hostility” from the vendors and that the Military Police had opened a preliminary investigation to analyze the images of the violence.
16/12/2025 – On Tuesday (16), a 65-year-old man accidentally shot and killed a 51-year-old man at a shooting club in the Mandaqui neighborhood, in the North Zone. Security footage shows the shooter handling a pistol when it discharged, striking the victim in the chest. The shooter, who claimed he believed the weapon was unloaded, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and released on bail.
17/12/2025 – The São Paulo Civil Police arrested two individuals on Wednesday (17), during an operation against a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking and money laundering. Investigators revealed the gang traded 81 tons of caffeine used to dilute cocaine, potentially producing over 320 tons of the drug for sale. Among those under investigation are a lawyer and a municipal housing secretary from a Greater São Paulo city. Authorities seized cash in various currencies, luxury vehicles, and two firearms while executing 27 search warrants and seeking two additional suspects.
18/12/2025 – On Thursday (18), an off-duty military police soldier was shot and killed during a robbery in Itaquera, East Zone. Security footage captured an armed criminal chasing and shooting the officer, who was in his car at the time. The assailant stole the victim’s .40 caliber pistol before fleeing; no suspects have been identified yet.
19/12/2025 – On Friday (19), São Paulo’s Gaeco and Civil Police launched “Operation Cacique do Asfalto” to dismantle a scheme that “legalized” stolen trailers and semi-trailers by issuing fraudulent new documents. A father and son were arrested in flagrante for chassis tampering during raids in the Capital, and Itapecerica da Serra and Cotia. Investigators found that a manufacturing firm used legitimate serial numbers from the National Transit Secretariat to give stolen vehicles a “new identity” as newly built products. To date, 15 falsifications have been confirmed, and a court ordered the seizure of $5.8 million in assets from the suspects.
