Authorities emphasize that victims must include their IMEI number in police reports to facilitate the return of their property. This strategy aims to dismantle the illicit resale market by identifying flagged devices as soon as they are reactivated.

20/12/2025 – On Saurday (20), a shootout between military police and four suspects following a pharmacy robbery on Morumbi Avenue, South Zone, left one suspect dead and a pedestrian injured. The confrontation began when police intercepted the suspects on two motorcycles, leading to a pursuit that ended in the Jardim Colombo area.

The victim was airlifted by the “Águia” helicopter to Hospital das Clínicas, while investigators linked the suspects to another robbery involving a 28-year-old man earlier that day. Wallace Jr. was arrested in São Paulo while attempting to flee Brazil following an investigation into the sexual exploitation of minors in Rio de Janeiro. 23/12/2025 – On Tuesday (23), a former prison officer shot and killed a 24-year-old delivery rider during a traffic dispute in the Mandaqui neighborhood, North Zone. Security footage shows the rider kicking the car door before the driver fired multiple shots, striking the victim in the arm and neck. The victim was taken to a local hospital but did not survive his injuries. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

24/12/2025 – Tainara Souza Santos, 31, died on the evening of Wednesday (24), after spending 25 days in a São Paulo hospital following a brutal attack by an ex-partner. On November 29, Douglas Alves da Silva, 26, intentionally struck Tainara with his car and dragged her for over a kilometer after a jealousy-driven argument at a bar. The victim, who leaves behind two children, had both legs amputated due to the severity of her injuries. Silva has been in custody since November 30, and the charge is now expected to be upgraded from attempted femicide to consummated femicide.
