26/05/2023 – Mother and son were arrested after several fake documents, cloned credit cards and cell phone chips were found in a residence in the Jardim Maia neighborhood, East Zone. According to the Military Police, officers went to answer a complaint on Rua Canarana do Amazonas, that fake documents were being produced there. When they arrived, the owner allowed the police to enter. However, while officers were at the residence, she tried to flee with a bag. A computer and printer were found in a room, where original and fake IDs were piled up alongside cloned cards. Money was also found.

26/05/2023 – Three men were arrested during an operation to curb drug trafficking at the Barra Funda Terminal bus station, in Barra Funda, West Zone. In the first arrest, a Bolivian man was on platform carrying two black suitcases. Initially, it appeared to have nothing illicit, but the police found the painting and structure of the suitcase strange, at which point they decided to do a test and scrape the contents. It was confirmed that mixed with the ink was a certain amount of cocaine. The second suspect arrested was carrying skank (strong marijuana) packs; the drug was in tablets tied with duct tape on his legs. The third was approached with 4 kilos of cocaine in tablets stored in a suitcase. According to the delegate, they were arriving in São Paulo, and the narcotics would probably be sold in the central region.
28/05/2023 – A man was robbed, and his car was stolen while he was washing his vehicle in front of his house, on Rua Charin, in Vila Carmosina, East Zone. A security camera caught the action, which lasted only 38 seconds and left no injuries. The images show the victim washing the wheel of the car in the company of an elderly person when a pair of robbers point a gun and flee taking the vehicle. The stolen car has not yet been located.
29/05/2023 – A generalized fight, caused by a commercial disagreement between Iraqi and Lebanese families, left one person injured on Rua Barão de Duprat, in the area of Rua 25 de Março, in the historic center of São Paulo. According to the Military Police, agents were called to deal with a call because of a disturbance in the middle of the street, around noon, when the road was crowded. Police found a victim with head injuries who claimed to have been hit by a bottle during the melee. Videos showed people with guns drawn and firing shots. It all started when one of the families asked the other about commercial disagreements.
29/05/2023 – 18 criminals were arrested for being part of a criminal network that supplied the local organized crime with information on police movements. The group had scouts who worked in the Grajaú neighborhood, South Zone, monitoring police activities 24 hours a day and passing on information in a conversation app. Police believe that more than 360 people are part of this group.
29/05/2023 – Civil police in the Federal District and São Paulo dismantled a São Paulo criminal group that coerced a man, a resident of Brasília, to transfer R$ 4,000 under threat of revealing to his wife and family messages of a sexual nature kept with a false profile, in a dating site. During Operation Catfish, a woman was arrested and three search and seizure warrants were carried out in São Paulo.
30/05/2023 – A 37-year-old fake doctor was arrested during an appointment in the Perdizes neighborhood, West Zone. She, who has more than 86,000 followers on social networks and has participated in lectures, used the number of the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM) of another doctor to serve clients without anyone suspecting. According to the Secretariat of Public Security, the police were called by the victim, who reported that there was a professional beautician posing as a doctor and using her CRM. The professional planned an ambush together with the police and made an appointment with the fake doctor. At the end of the service, the author stamped a request for exams with the victim’s CRM, which resulted in the arrest.
30/05/2023 – A criminal was run over after the victim reacted to an attempted robbery on Avenida Ermano Marchetti, in Lapa, West Zone. According to the Military Police, the victim was traveling down the road towards Osasco when at least two criminals announced the robbery. After that, the driver accelerated and managed to hit one of the criminals, who was run over. The second perpetrator fled the scene.
30/05/2023 – A criminal died after a metropolitan civil guard (GCM) reacted to an attempted robbery on Avenida Zaki Narchi, in the neighborhood of Carandiru, North Zone. The victim was returning to his residence accompanied by his wife after work when he was approached. The criminal took advantage of the driver slowing down due to the traffic light and announced the robbery. Upon realizing the crime, the metropolitan civil guard pulled his gun and shot the man.
30/05/2023 – Three criminals were arrested after a chase in Pompéia region, West Zone. They were in a luxury car and fled when they saw a police car. Shots were fired, and one of the criminals was wounded. That only ended when they collided against two vehicles and a wall. Inside the car, a fake gun, tools to break into doors and gloves were found. Police officers found, after survey, that the vehicle had been stolen in April this year.
01/06/2023 – The criminal who shot two police officers during an approach in the São Mateus neighborhood, East Zone, was arrested by the Military Police. According to authorities, he was found in a community close to the crime scene. The other teenager who was in the approach was also arrested. Security cameras at an establishment recorded the criminal’s action. In the images, you can see the moment when one of the criminals tries to escape and two officers try to contain him. He manages to grab the gun from one of the officers, shoots them both and escapes.
