06/06/2024 – The driver of the Porsche that caused a traffic accident that killed a man and injured another person on 31 March was arrested on Monday (05/06). He turned himself in Tatuapé, East Zone of São Paulo. Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, 24, had his arrest decreed by the Court on Friday (05/03).

06/06/2024 – On her way to France, a woman was arrested on Thursday at the São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos for carrying cocaine capsules in her stomach. Another man was arrested while he was trying to carry 8 kg of cocaine to Johannesburg, South Africa.
06/06/2024 – On Thursday (06/06), members of a gang linked to the PCC, were condemned for criminal organization, extortion, use of a firearm, and restriction of liberty of a 48-year-old man and sentenced to up to 18 years of prison. They were running a “Tinder scam” in which they used a fake profile named “Maria Clara” to lure men.
07/06/2024 – In the region of Canindé, downtown São Paulo, a detection dog helped the Military Police seize drugs. This seizure follows a previous search conducted on the 5th and led Operation Impact to seize 407 portions of marijuana, 678 piles of cocaine, and 526 stones of crack, as well as R$286 in cash.
10/06/2024 – In Itaim Paulista, East Zone of São Paulo, a woman was arrested and charged with the murder of her children. According to the Military Police, on Sunday 9 June, she sent her brother a message suggesting she did something wrong, which made him contact the authorities.
10/06/2024 – On Monday night (10/06), two agents of the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GVM) were shot in two robbery attempts, in both Butanta and Freguesia do Ó in Sao Paulo. The interval between the crimes was just 30 minutes. In both cases, criminals managed to escape, and the agents were taken to the hospital and survived.
11/06/2024 – In Vila Alpina (Zona Leste of SP), a suspect was arrested as he was suspected of being part of a criminal group participating in the pharmacy’s robberies. His partner is still on the run, and together they were allegedly stealing medication for the treatment of diabetes, which is also used to promote weight loss.
12/06/2024 – 384.2 kilos of marijuana, cocaine, and crack were seized this Wednesday (12/06) in Paraisopolis, in three abandoned houses. Military police were on patrol in the Paraisópolis community when they spotted a man suspected of being a drug trafficking scout. When he saw the cars, the criminal fled through the alleyways of the community. As the police were running after the suspects, they escaped.
13/06/2024 – On Thursday (13/06), São Paulo Civil Police conducted an operation in Cracolândia (Center) targeted at hotels suspected of being involved in drug trafficking. According to the authorities, this operation aims to investigate how organized crime, such as the PCC, launders money in the city center by using drug trafficking.
13/06/2024 – In the center of Sao Paulo, on Thursday (13/06), Police officers arrested nine detainees, and seized drugs and cash. They are still being suspected of stealing 26 cell phones and a firearm with 24 rounds of ammunition.
13/06/2024 – During a joint operation of the Military Police and the Public Minister of Sao Paulo, more than 170 slot machines and 29 spots for illegal lottery games (Jogo do Bicho) were destroyed. More than 60 people were arrested. Authorities also found seven phones, diverse packs of cigarettes of illegal origin, and R$ 21,000 in cash.
14/06/2024 – A man was arrested at the Guarulhos Airport as he was trying to smuggle 10 kg of cocaine by hiding them in slippers. Overall, last year more than 300 people went to São Paulo International Airport trying to take drugs abroad, and more than 2.5 tons had been seized by federal police.
