25/10/2024 – Military police officers from the 33rd BPM arrested a suspected drug trafficker on Friday (25/10), in Morro da Fortaleza. The agents were doing intelligence work in the area when they spotted the criminal with a suspicious attitude. With him, cocaine, crack rocks, marijuana, ether, hashish, and a radio transmitter were found.

28/10/2024 – On Monday night (28/10), military police from the 33rd BPM arrested a man and apprehended a minor, and a large quantity of drugs in Morro do Santo Antônio, in the central area of the city. During the search, the following were found cocaine; crack; ether; marijuana; and three radio transmitters.
30/10/2024 – More than two tons of counterfeit products were seized in commercial establishments in Angra dos Reis on Wednesday (30/10), in an operation by Procon and the State Secretariat for Consumer Protection (Sedcon). Six markets, a distributor, and a convenience store at a gas station were targeted by the operation. Among the products unfit for consumption were 365 kilos of expired food such as meat, semi-ready lasagna, and pastry dough.
