07/08/2026 – On Friday (7), in the Cambuci neighborhood, Central São Paulo, a doctor working as a contractor at an East Zone hospital was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a vulnerable person. The victim, a fellow anesthesiologist, reported that after a celebratory lunch where alcohol and narcotics were consumed, she suffered memory gaps, woke up in different clothes with physical trauma, and recalled flashes of the suspect attempting sexual assault. A colleague alerted by text arrived at the apartment around 21:00 to assist the victim, who was taken to the Hospital for medical evaluation, while the suspect denied the assault, claiming memory impairment from substance use.

08/08/2026 – On Saturday (8), on Rua Tabapuã in the Itaim Bibi neighborhood, South São Paulo, an armed suspect on a motorcycle robbed four women, taking their cellphones and personal belongings. Security footage captured the assailant stopping his vehicle on the street to wait for the victims, two of whom are prosecutors from the São Paulo State Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP-SP), before ambushing them at gunpoint. The suspect fled on his motorcycle immediately after the robbery.
09/08/2026 – On Sunday (9), in the Jardim Guanabara neighborhood, South São Paulo, two girls aged 3 and 5 were found asphyxiated inside a car on Rua Luiz Supertti. The father, 24-year-old Breno de Souza Castro, turned himself in at the 48th Police District and confessed to the double homicide, which was reportedly motivated by jealousy of his ex-partner. According to the mother, Castro had sent threatening messages after taking the children for the weekend, escalating a pattern of harassment following their March separation. The victim stated that while recovering from an induced coma and still intubated, the employee took her hand to masturbate himself and touched her inappropriately. 10/08/2026 – On Monday (10), in the Jaguaré neighborhood, West Zone, a 48-year-old man was shot and killed and three others were injured during a brawl at a baile funk. According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), an unidentified suspect drew a firearm during the altercation and fired into the crowd, hitting four men aged 21 to 48.
