10/10/2022 – A thief was beaten by people passing by on Rua Antônio Bento, in Vila Mathias. The incident occurred after he stole a bicycle valued at R$800 from the location. The criminal was rescued and arrested by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Santos. The agents were patrolling the neighborhood when some people reported that there was a man on the run. As a result, the guards went searching to try to capture him, and found the thief being beaten by some people, who fled when the vehicle arrived.
12/10/2022 – A shooting between criminals and the Military Police (PM) took place on Avenida Nossa Senhora do Monte Serrat, in Morro do Fontana. The police vehicle was left full of holes in the front window, hit by at least 17 shots. It all happened while the team was searching for a car that had been stolen. During the patrol, the police located the vehicle surrounded by five suspicious men, who, upon seeing the military, shot at the corporation.
15/10/2022 – An arsenal of shotguns with ammunition was seized by the Military Police (PM) on Avenida Governador Mário Covas Júnior, in the Vila Sapo community, in the Ponta da Praia neighborhood. The material was inside a shack. At the time of the incident, there was no one at the scene. Teams were patrolling the neighborhood when they were informed about strange movement during the early hours of the morning in a small house in the area. When they arrived at the address, they found the ammunition and weapons.
15/10/2022 – Federal deputy Carlos Alberto da Cunha (PP-SP) was accused of domestic violence, bodily harm, insult, and threat. The case reported by the parliamentarian’s girlfriend took place in the couple’s apartment, which is located on Rua Ricardo Pinto, in Aparecida, in Santos. He denies the accusations. The victim, aged 28, reported that she has been in a stable relationship with the deputy for three years and the incident happened around 9 pm.
