According to data released by the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) and the Health Ministry, during the 140th (14 to 20 August) epidemiological week, the number of new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 14,71% when compared to the 139th (21 to 27 August) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, a 9,07% decrease was registered while compared to the 139th week.
