According to data released by the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) and the Health Ministry, during the 166th (5 to 11 March) epidemiological week, the number of new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 1.86% when compared to the 165th (26 February to 04 March) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, a 8.88% decrease was registered while compared to the 165th week.
According to information released by the Our World in Data webpage on Saturday (19/03), Brazil has 176.15 million people fully vaccinated or 81.81% of its total population.
