EXTRATROPICAL CYCLONE DEVASTATES SOUTHERN BRAZIL

On Friday (07/10) and Sunday (08), an extratropical cyclone caused destruction in part of the Southern region, with at least six deaths reported in the interior of Paraná. The cyclone affected at least 86 cities in five states in the South and Southeast. There were various occurrences, such as flooding, road closures, fallen trees, and roof damage. Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, in Paraná, was devastated by a tornado.
