On Tuesday (14/06), Jacarezinho residents, Rio de Janeiro North Zone, staged a protest demanding the improvements promised by the Integrated City program. The demonstration took place on Avenida Dom Hélder Câmara. In January, the government of RJ promised an investment of R$ 122 million to build houses — through the Casa da Gente program — in the Jacarezinho and Muzema favelas, which were occupied by state security forces. However, nothing has been delivered.
