NURSING PROFESSIONALS PROTEST OVERTURNED NEW MINIMUM WAGE

Nursing professionals performed a protest on the morning of the 8 September, in front of Rio de Janeiro Legislative Assembly (Alerj), downtown. The demonstration was promoted to protest the decision to overturn the implementation of a new salary minimum made by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) minister Luís Roberto Barroso on September 4^th. On 9 September, several acts were performed in 15 states (including Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo), as well as in the Federal District, for the same reason. The matter started to be voted again by the STF on September 9^th, but the rapporteur requested a 60-day deadline for institutions to present the financial impact of the measure.
