After the attacks on 8 January, supporters of former President Bolsonaro attempted to provoke a supply crisis by calling people to block the entrance of refineries across the country. They are also believed to have sabotaged three power lines in at least two states.

Refineries were targeted in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná and in Other States
At the Duque de Caxias Refinery (Reduc), in Rio de Janeiro, the act was scheduled to start at 02:00 am on Monday, 9. However, protesters did not go to the location.
At the Henrique Lage Refinery (Revap), in São José dos Campos (SP), the Military Police had to negotiate when the first truck arrived at the base of the Vibra distributor to load fuel. Approximately 30 demonstrators tried to block the access gates.
In Paraná, at the Getúlio Vargas Refinery (Repar), also owned by Petrobras, the Police’s actions prevented Bolsonaro’s allies from approaching. During the early hours of this Monday, the Shock Battalion of the State Military Police removed a group that was trying to block access to the Vibra base.
An act was called to be carried out in front of Gabriel Passos Refinery (Regap), in Betim, Minas Gerais. But no demonstrators were seen either, only the Police on site.
At the Isaac Sabbá Refinery (Reman), in Amazonas, sold by Petrobras to the Atem group in November last year, around 50 Bolsonaristas remain camped out. However, police officers prevented any blockade.
Power Lines
The falls of two transmission towers of the Eletrobras system, between the night of 8 January and the morning of the following day, occurred after saboteurs cut the fixing cables, according to media sources. The towers fell on Furnas systems (in Paraná), in the early hours of Monday, and Eletronorte (Rondônia), on Sunday night. A third tower, belonging to the Evoltz group – on a line that runs from Rondônia to São Paulo (Madeira Complex) – was also knocked down in the early hours of 9 January, with evidence of sabotage by cutting the stays.
Energy transmitter Taesa reported on 12 January that one of its transmission towers in Rio das Pedras, in the interior of São Paulo, suffered damage after an act of sabotage the day before.
