On Tuesday (31/05), the Executive Director of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), Jean Coelho, was relieved of his duties as published in the Official Gazette, signed by the Minister of the Civil House, Ciro Nogueira. The Director of Intelligence, Allan da Mota Rebello, was also dismissed. This comes a week after the death of Genivaldo de Jesus Santos, who was tied up and put in the trunk of a corporate vehicle, which was turned into a “gas chamber” by officers. A disciplinary proceeding was opened by the agency, in addition to an investigation opened by the Regional Office for Citizen’s Rights, about “violations to citizens’ rights and, especially, to the rights of disabled people”.
