25/04/2023 – Civil Police officers arrested a man carrying a firearm near the Convention Center in the São José Barreto neighborhood. After identification, there was police chase and the man tried to flee and hide inside a store, where he was located and arrested. With him, it was found a revolver with shaved numbering and 6 ammunition, in addition to a radio communicator.
26/04/2023 – A man was shot dead on Rua Maria Braga Lima Dias, in the Cajueiros neighborhood. The 28-year-old victim had a criminal record for drug trafficking, according to the Military Police. According to the occurrence, officers were called to verify the homicide. So far there is no information about the authorship and motivation of the crime. Nobody was arrested.
26/04/2023 – Three men were arrested after a report of drug trafficking in the Bela Vista neighborhood. The action was carried out by the Civil Police and is part of a strategy to combat drug trafficking in communities where homicides occur the most in the city. Officers seized marijuana, cocaine, and crack. According to the police, three criminals were arrested.
