02/04/2025 – A police operation in the Favela da Linha, on Wednesday (02/04), resulted in the arrest of one man for drug trafficking. According to the 123rd Police Precinct, four individuals were caught in drug-related activity in an area known to be controlled by the criminal faction Friends of Friends (ADA). Among them were three teenagers. Drugs and cash were also seized.
09/04/2025 – On Wednesday (09/04), a man was arrested for drug trafficking in the Sol e Mar neighborhood. Officers from the 32nd Military Police Battalion were alerted by residents who reported that the suspect, wearing an Argentina national team shirt, was dealing drugs near the Mosquini beverage depot. He was arrested.

09/04/2025 – A man was arrested for drug trafficking in the Aroeira neighborhood, on Wednesday (09/04). Police from the 32nd Military Police Battalion located the suspect, who was reportedly armed and involved in local drug activity. Officers found marijuana, crack, and cocaine hidden at his residence.
12/04/2025 – A man was arrested for drug trafficking on Saturday (12), during a routine patrol in Lagomar. Officers from the 32nd Military Police Battalion stopped him on W 28 street, where he admitted involvement in drug dealing and revealed the hiding spot. Police seized cocaine and a mobile phone. He was taken to the 123rd Police Precinct and charged with drug trafficking and criminal association.
15/04/2025 – On Tuesday (15), the Federal Police carried out Operation Farra Brasil 14 to dismantle a criminal network that defrauded users of the CAIXA TEM app. In Macaé and six other cities, officers executed 23 search warrants. The suspects allegedly paid Caixa and lottery agents for illegal access to government benefit accounts. Victims included users of social programs, FGTS, and unemployment insurance. The 16 individuals targeted may face charges of criminal organization, qualified theft, bribery, and data fraud.
20/04/2025 – On Sunday (20), the Military Police seized drugs during an operation at the Macaé Bus Station with assistance from the K-9 unit. While inspecting luggage on buses, officers noticed a change in behavior from a detection dog. A search followed, leading to the discovery of 26 cocaine vials valued at R$ 15 each. The seizure is expected to result in a loss of R$ 390 for the local drug trade.
22/04/2025 – A man was arrested on Tuesday (22), in the Lagomar neighborhood after fleeing a routine police patrol. He attempted to escape in a Ford Fusion, pointing a firearm at officers and ignoring multiple stop orders. The chase ended when he crashed into a wall and fled on foot, discarding a 9mm pistol with a removed serial number and a rapid-fire device in a vacant lot. He was later apprehended, and police records revealed prior charges including armed robbery, domestic violence, and drug trafficking.
24/04/2025 – The Civil Police of Macaé arrested a man last Thursday (24) for drug trafficking in the Bosque Azul neighborhood. The suspect was caught red-handed on Rua Nádia Maria carrying out activities related to drug trafficking. The location is already known to the police authorities as being controlled by the criminal faction ADA.
26/04/2025 – A woman was arrested by the military police last Saturday during a routine patrol in the Favela da Linha in Macaé. The officers noticed that she changed direction when she noticed the presence of the police car and continued the approach. R$142 in cash and a cell phone were found with the woman. The officers also found five tablets of marijuana (30g) and 10 rocks of crack (10g). She also confessed to involvement in drug trafficking in the region.
26/04/2025 – On Tuesday (30), an operation involving the Military and Civil police forces, in support of the Federal Police, was carried out in Macaé and Rio das Ostras, with the objective of serving 12 arrest warrants related to various crimes committed by fugitive suspects. The targets were spread throughout several neighborhoods of the municipalities of Macaé and Rio das Ostras, including: Ajuda de Baixo, Ajuda de Cima, Campo D’Oeste, Lagomar, Novo Horizonte, Parque Aeroporto, São José do Barreto, Chácara Mariléia and Jardim Mariléia. The outcome of the operation resulted in the arrest of nine people at their home addresses. The crimes for which the detainees were accused included homicide, drug trafficking, robbery, document forgery, and use of false documents.

- When going to and leaving Vale Encantado, never walk, call a licensed taxi or ride-sharing App.
- Be always cautious, including in areas perceived as safe.
- Avoid any display of wealth (jewelry, cell phones), but always carry a small amount of money (R$50) to hand.
