123rd Police Battalion had historical reduction of crime reported in November. Compared to the same month of last year, carjacking cases decreased of 70%, with only 3 cases registered in November 2023. Street thefts also dropped significantly of 74% to 09 cases registered. Freight robbery is probably the best scoring of this month with no case registered for the entire year. This has been possible only due to the increase of patrols and intelligence against organized crime.

03/12/2023 – A 5yo child died in a drowning in the Lagoa de Imboassica, South Macaé, while he was accompanied of his aunt. The ER has quickly rescued the little boy and took him to the hospital. But despite all efforts of the rescue teams, the boy did not make it.
