10/06/2022 – A pregnant 19-year-old teenager was shot dead in the Lagomar neighborhood. The police were called to verify the incident and, upon arriving at the scene, found the pregnant woman already covered with a sheet and several cartridges next to the body. According to witnesses, a car stopped near the victim, where four elements got out of the car and shot the young woman. The criminals then fled the scene.
11/06/2022 – Two men were shot and arrested by the Military Police (PM) after committing a series of robberies in the São José do Barreto neighborhood. At least eight people were robbed by the duo.
11/06/2022 – A 21-year-old girl was found shot to death on Barreto beach. The victim was on the beach, and on the sandbank, there was a stain of blood, in addition to empty cartridges and a drag mark where the body was left. Her body was found by public, who called the Military Police.
15/06/2022 – A van with teams from the Institutional Security Office (GSI), responsible for the security of governor Cláudio Castro, was shot in the Nova Holanda community. The governor was not in the car. The team was the forerunner, that is, assigned to assess the site before the governor arrived. The vehicle was intercepted by criminals after the GPS indicated a wrong street. A security guard was shot in the hand during an intense shooting and was taken to the hospital.
