29/07/2026 – On Wednesday (29/07), a man wanted for murder and robbery was arrested by Civil Police during a drug operation. Caught selling narcotics in the Jabaquara neighborhood, the suspect tried to flee and physically fought with officers before being restrained and handcuffed. Police seized nearly five kilograms of cocaine and marijuana, two walkie-talkies, two mobile phones, and cash. A background check confirmed his active warrant and prior criminal record for theft and robbery, leading to his booking for drug trafficking and resisting arrest.

31/07/2026 – On Friday (31), the Military Police conducted “Operação Impacto Grande Envergadura” in the Northwest Zone, to combat organized crime and dismantle illegal barricades. The mobilization brought together specialized units (including BAEP, ROTA, COE, Shock Police, K-9 units, and aviation support) to restore public access and protect residents and officers from armed attacks. The operation aimed to reinforce State presence in areas where drug trafficking factions had restricted movement and disrupted essential services.
07/08/2026 – On Friday (7), Civil Police details confirmed that a 21-year-old suspect is being investigated for defrauding a group of doctors through fictitious telemedicine jobs promising salaries up to R$ 28,000. Under the pretense of finalizing hiring, the man charged victims between R$ 4,100 and R$ 7,200 for fraudulent insurance policies and collected sensitive credentials, including gov.br account access. Around 18 medical professionals were targeted after an initial recruit unknowingly brought in colleagues. Following search warrants executed on August 4 in Barueri where the suspect evaded capture, Santos Civil Police (7º DP) continue investigations into his 36 prior fraud reports to locate him.
