25/06/2024 – Civil Police arrested a 19-year-old man on Tuesday (25) in Santa Cecilia for illegally selling products with Nazi references. The suspect’s father allowed the police to enter the room where they found a series of items with the swastika and the “SS” symbol, as well as camouflage clothing, bulletproof vests, grenade replicas, pocketknives and pliers.

29/06/2024 – 4 criminals were arrested after an attempted robbery ensued in Jardins on Saturday (29). One man was taken hostage and held for over an hour before being released. A witness was passing by the front of the residence where the crime took place and called the police.
29/06/2024 – A police officer suspected of murdering a postman was arrested on Saturday (29) at Congonhas Airport. The suspect has been a fugitive since the crime took place in August 2023, when police learned he was on a flight to Sao Paulo they waited for him at the arrivals gate. The suspect denied the crime and stated that he was unaware of the existence of the arrest warrant.
30/06/2024 – A vehicle that was carrying five packages of radioactive material was stolen on Sunday (30). The National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) warns that handling this material improperly may cause bodily harm.
01/07/2024 – On Monday (1) a man was arrested for attempting to withdraw approximately R$700,000 using the power of attorney of a man who died in 2023. Police were called by the bank suspected fraud after the man requested payment of a court order made through a power of attorney.
01/07/2024 – Civil police seized a laboratory used to make “crystal” a variation of methamphetamine on Monday (1) in Aclimação. Four men and two women were arrested and found 2.1 kilograms of the drug. The estimated damage to drug trafficking is R$1 million.
01/07/2024 – A state school in Vila Penteado had to close due to the electrical wiring being stolen on Monday (1). This is the second time in the past two weeks that the school has needed to close due to wire theft and young children are unable to attend the school.
01/07/ 2024 – On Monday (1) The Civil Police launched an operation against a criminal faction that specialized in drug trafficking and money laundering in the city of São Paulo. The teams carried out search and seizure warrants at 5 different locations in the city and seized at least 7 luxury vehicles, three illegal firearms, and an amount of cash that is still being counted. No one was arrested; however, the police are continuing their investigation.
02/07/2024 – Federal Police (PF) rescued 22 victims of sexual exploitation on Tuesday (2) in São Paulo. The PF carried out two search and seizure warrants, one in Freguesia do Ó and the other in Greater São Paulo. According to the PF, trans women were brought from the North and Northeast regions of Brazil with the promise of working in a beauty salon. When the victims arrived, they discovered they were involved in a prostitution scheme.
03/07/2024 – On Wednesday (3) a man was arrested at Guarulhos airport when he attempted to travel out of the country with 17 gold bars. The suspect tried to smuggle the gold out in coffee bags and did not have authorization to transport the gold. The bars were seized, totaling 6 kg. The Chinese man ended up being detained and indicted for the crime “Against the Economic Order – Usurpation of assets belonging to the Union.”
03/07/2024 – On Wednesday (3) at least 20 people robbed a supermarket in Vila Santa Catarina. The suspects wore masks and hoods as they invaded the market while the store was still open, as customers fled the criminals took everything they could carry before fleeing the scene. Police are investigating.
04/07/2024 – The Civil Police arrested 32 people on Thursday (4) in São Paulo during an operation against a gang that applies digital scams in different states. The operation is called Operation Digital Guardian, which targets a gang that could exceed R$12 million through various internet scams. Cell phones, notebooks, and other items were seized by police and will help identify other scammers.
04/07/2024 – A Military Police officer died after being shot during a robbery in Jabaquara on Thursday (4). According to the police the officer was returning from work on a luxury motorcycle when he was approached by three men. A witness stated the suspects and officer were in a physical fight before the bandits fled shot the officer in the chest and leg and did not take the motorcycle.
