19/07/2026 – On Sunday afternoon (19), a joint operation between the Civil Police and the Federal Police resulted in the arrest of a wanted fugitive at the main bus terminal in downtown Macaé. Intelligence units tracked the convicted offender, who had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Rio de Janeiro Court of Appeals for assault, uttering threats, and illegal constraint, as he traveled to the terminal. Officers intercepted him on site and transferred him to the 123rd DP, where he remains in custody awaiting judicial proceedings.

21/07/2026 – On Tuesday (21), the Civil Police recovered a cloned vehicle in the Ajuda neighborhood and arrested a man for receiving stolen property and tampering with vehicle identification markers. Driven by intelligence from the Robbery and Theft Sector, officers tracked down the car, a stolen VW Virtus disguised as a VW Nivus with cloned license plates, which had been originally reported stolen in Rio de Janeiro on July 9, 2025. The suspect was taken to the 123rd DP and booked in flagrante.
