SANTOS SECURITY INCIDENTS – 2ND BULLETIN OF OCTOBER

08/10/2026 – On Thursday afternoon (8), a teenager was apprehended on the José Menino beach promenade after robbing a pedestrian of a necklace. Agents from the Municipal Civil Guard’s Motorcycle Tactical Ostensive Rounds (Rotam Motos) were alerted to the crime by residents during a preventative patrol and located the juvenile on the boardwalk minutes later, where he was found arguing with bystanders. The victim arrived at the scene, identified the suspect, and recovered the stolen jewelry; the teenager and the bicycle used in his escape attempt were taken to the 7th Police Precinct, where he was booked for an infraction analogous to robbery and remained in custody at the disposal of the Justice system.
